Emma Wurster, Irene (Wurster) Hawes' aunt, married Leonard Voght on 18 Aug 1902. The Indianapolis Star published the following on 20 Aug 1902.
Miss Emma Wurster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Wurster, and Leonard Voght were married Monday evening at the home of the Rev. Theodore Sahory, of St. John's Evangelical church. Miss Annie Poppe and Robert Wurster, brother of the bride, were the attendants. The bride wore white silk organdy and carried bride roses and Miss Poppe wore white lawn and carried pink roses. After the ceremony there was a supper for the relatives and a few intimate friends. Mr. and Mrs. Voght have gone to Buffalo on a wedding trip and will be at home after September 1 in this city. Miss Cook, of Ft. Wayne, and Miss Ungers, of Arcadia, were among the guests.
